Abstract: Evidence is obtained through investigation on an offroad vehicle fire accident. According to the information provided by the persons concerned, the basic situations of the car fire accident are understood, such as the time at which the car fire began, the ignition point, and the vehicle accidents and maintenance. Based on the driving route and driving environment inspected on site, various information, including the burning trace characteristics of the accident vehicle, the fire spread, and the inspection of the mechanical failure of engine room, is described in detail, and the basis for the determination of the cause of the car fire is fully explained. This article provides reference for the investigation on the similar car fire accidents.
