Abstract: Abstract: In September 2021, the Kigali Amendment was officially entered into force for China. The phase-out and control of hydrofluorocarbons will soon enter a new era. As the major substitute of halon fire extinguishing agents, hydrofluorocarbon fire extinguishing products will be gradually phased out from 2024 to 2045. The article introduces the control target of China in the Kigali Amendment and the general situation of production and consumption of hydrofluorocarbon fire extinguishing products in the firefighting industry. After reviewing and summarizing the experiences learned from halon phased out work, this article predicts and analyzes the phase-out model of hydrofluorocarbons in firefighting industry.
