Abstract: Abstract: In the performance test experiment of flame arrester, several groups of flame sensors are installed on the pipe to monitor the arrival time of the flame, and then calculate the propagation speed of the flame in the pipe. Due to the common optical sensors are prone to false positives, easy carbon deposition, poor stability and other problems, in order to ensure the accuracy of flame speed solution, a flame sensor based on ion current is designed. The parameters of the sensor are determined through experimental comparison, that is, when the measuring electrode material is chromium zirconium copper, the electrode spacing is 2 mm, the electrode length is 25 mm, and the excitation voltage is 36 V, the sensor can reliably calculate the average flame propagation speed during the performance test of the flame arrester.
