Research on simulated experiment of gas fire extinguishing systems design verification

Abstract: In order to improve the safety and reliability of the gas fire extinguishing system, the situation of gas fire extinguishing system pipeline network design and related standard were summarized. The pipe network system simulation experiments of the shortest and longest conveying distance was carried out. The parameters such as spray time, nozzle pressure, fire extinguishing agent release, and maximum pressure downstream of the pressure reducing orifice were measured, and compared with a design verification software of the gas fire extinguishing system. The results showed that the actual parameters deviate greatly from the national standard theoretical parameters. Countermeasures against existing problems were put forward.
