Research on pedestrian evacuation of stairs and turning platform

Abstract: Based on the classic social force model, considering the various interaction forces of the pedestrians in the stairwell, the turning probability was introduced to modify the model and the pedestrian evacuation in stairs was researched. Then, considering the relationship between the pedestrian flow rate and time, an evacuation time model of non-uniform speed descending human movement was proposed. The simulation based on the AnyLogic platform was put forward and it verified the rationality of the model.The potential bottleneck phenomena of pedestrian movement in the stairs was obtained and corresponding measures were put forward to provide reference for planning and guidance of building stairs.
