Influencing factors on evacuation time of strait super long railway tunnel

Abstract: In order to explore the influence of evacuation facilities on the evacuation time in strait super long railway tunnel,evacuation models are established by Pathfinder. It takes the cross passage width, cross passage spacing, evacuation passage width and the number of persons evacuated as the main variables, mainly analyzes the changing trend of evacuation time under different variables. The results show that, the cross passage width with 2m as the boundary has a stepwise effect on the evacuation time. The evacuation time is linearly related to the change in cross passage spacing. The relationship between the evacuation passage width and the occupant load with the evacuation time show exponential relationship and growth relation of quadratic function respectively. When designing an evacuation system for a super long railway tunnel, it is suggested to take into account the construction feasibility and the subsequent operation management, and carry out a targeted evaluation for the evacuation system.
