Abstract: The Internet of Vehicles technology clarifies the interconnection of vehicles, roads, cities and people, and plays an important role in preventing urban traffic jams, driving safety, energy saving, emission reduction, and auxiliary traffic management. The integration of Internet of vehicles technology in fire vehicles can effectively improve the firefighting force's combat effectiveness, intelligent management level, and precise and efficient disposal capabilities. This article introduces the basic concepts and key technologies of the Internet of Vehicles. At the same time, it focuses on the application and development trend of Internet of Vehicles technology in the field of fire protection, designs the application model of Internet of Vehicles system for fire protection, and explains the important role of Internet of Vehicles technology for the development and construction of fire vehicle network system.
