passenger interiors

Abstract

Abstract: Introduction of fire test method and evaluation parameters for interior decoration of railway vehicle passenger compartment in EN455545-2 Railway Applications, Fire Protection of Rail Vehicles-Part 2: Fire Performance Requirements for Materials and Components was carried out.Reference to ISO codes, the method of classification testing and comprehensive evaluation of wall panel materials were adopted to carried out combustion test and smoke density and toxicity test.The relationship between test results and fire protection design was analyzed for the reference of the OEM and passenger interior design designers.
