Numerical simulation of smoke spread in commercial kitchen fire

Abstract: Through the field research, the typical commercial kitchen structure model was obtained. Eight working conditions were set up to simulate the changing rules of smoke, temperature, visibility and other parameters in different fire accident scenarios of commercial kitchen by CFD, and the evolution characteristics of different fire accident scenarios were obtained.The analysis results showed that the visibility of the section at 2 m height in the commercial kitchen decreases to less than 10 m after 30~40 s of fire, which affects the evacuation of personnel. After 50~150 s of fire, the temperature of the measuring point at 1.8 m height near the door reaches 60 ℃, which affects the life safety of personnel.
