Analysis on fireproof height of a large-scale center of science, technology and culture

Abstract: Aiming at how to determine the fireproof height of slope construction in a large commercial area,taking the fire proof height of a large-scale center of science, technology and culture as the example, a comprehensive analysis of architectural features, functions, fire rescue and personnel evacuation was carried out with the principle and target from the code. Under the circumstance of ensuring the safety of whole building, the terrace on second floor was designed as for fire truck rescue site and human evacuation exit.The ridge and eaves height of large slope roof were determined reasonably, and the building height was calculated according to the code. The building was identified as multi-storey public buildings,and the classification of buildings is defined. It might provide reference and support for the fire protection design of this kind building.
