Abstract: Abstract: Sichuan and Chongqing region is located in the southwest of China: the Sichuan Basin and the east of Wushan. The vegetation is mainly subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, and the fire source is mainly caused by human activities. Affected by extreme heat and drought, the number and intensity of fires in Sichuan and Chongqing have continued to increase, causing serious ecological disasters and social crises. On the basis of summarizing the recent cases of mountain fires in Sichuan and Chongqing, this paper analyzes the main causes of the mountain fires from three aspects: oxygen, combustible materials and ignition sources, and analyzes the difficulties in fighting the fires from the terrain, climate and vegetation. Finally, it puts forward the corresponding prevention and control strategies from multiple perspectives.
