Abstract: Abstract: The reliability and existing risks of the three automatic starting devices of the automatic sprinkler system are analyzed in detail. In view of the conflict between Article 11.0.1 of GB 50084-2017 Code for design of automatic sprinkler systems and other standards, and the problems in the reliability and safety of the automatic sprinkler system, the paper proposes that: for the wet automatic sprinkler systems, the pressure switch on the alarm pipeline of the alarm valve group directly starts the fire pump, which is the optimal configuration of the system and meets the requirements of timely startup and safe fire extinguishing of the wet system.
