Abstract: Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of graphene coating on the combustion performance of micro-aluminum powder, a few layers of reduced graphene were prepared by oxidation-reduction method, and graphene composite aluminum powder was prepared by in-situ reduction method. The coating effect of graphene on aluminum powder was analyzed by XRD, SEM, XPS and oxygen bomb calorimetry. The combustion efficiency of aluminum powder and composite aluminum powder was compared. The results show that the combustion performance of aluminum powder coated with 5 nm graphene is better than that of pure aluminum powder. The mass heat of combustion is 24 532 J/g, and the combustion efficiency is 80.32%, which is much higher than that of pure aluminum powder (63.31%). Based on the characterization of the combustion products of composite aluminum powder, the mechanism of graphene effect on the combustion properties of aluminum powder is reasonably inferred. It is considered that the thermal conductivity and large specific surface area of graphene accelerate the heat conduction of aluminum particles and enhance the reaction participation of active aluminum particles.
