Research and development of clean chemical gas fire extinguishing agents under the "dual carbon" goal

Abstract:  Under the "dual carbon" goal, with the implementation of the Kigali Amendment, the currently widely used hydrofluorocarbon gas extinguishing agent represented by heptafluoropropane, as a typical non-carbon dioxide greenhouse gas, will be restricted and phased out. On the basis of reviewing the development history of gas fire extinguishing agents in waves, this paper reviews the current research status and development opportunities and challenges of chemical gas fire extinguishing agents.
