Research on disposal strategies of organic liquid dangerous chemicals

Abstract:  The disposal technology for leakage of organic liquid hazardous chemicals using a polymer absorbent is studied by means of experiments. The test results show that: the polymer absorbent can inhibit the volatilization of harmful liquids; the use of strip absorbents can achieve 100% interception of flowing liquid hazardous chemicals. Based on the experiment,a smart manhole covers with the ability to intercept hazardous organic liquids and to alert is developed. The absorbent can also be used in leakage accident and disposal after foam fire extinguishment.
